On November 18th, 2010 I Am PR Agency packed the house at Webster Hall The Studio for the “Rap Rocks The Studio” event. The fully diverse line up included performances by Astronomikal Kid, Cocoa Sarai, Blk Vampires,
The Thang, The White House Band, Young Fellaz, Upperclassman, Fresh Daily, Maffew Ragazino and more. The performers engaged the crowd as one by one each blazed the stage with some of their most popular tracks.
Astronomikal Kid blew away the audience as the 14 year old exposed his lyrical content to the crowd. He performed his track “Stop Looking at My Moms”, currently being streamed over mediums such as Youtube. Cocoa Sarai grazed the stage exposing her amazing talent and play like performance. The crowd got wild when Cocoa invited one of the audience members on stage to join her for a special performance. The line up diversified when Blk Vampires hit the stage next; the metal band had a powerful set and strong follow by their fans. The Thang thoroughly embraced the crowd as members of the band dove into the crowd, danced, and even sang from the behind the bar with the bartenders.
The White House Band rocked the walls of The Studio with some of their hits such as “Maybe Tomorrow”. Many of The White House Band’s fans stood in front of the stage and sang along to their favorite tunes while lead singer David E Beats handed out goodies to the crowd. Young Fellaz brought back an old school rap feel as they performed some of their popular tracks to such as “Where I’m From”, repping each borough of New York City. A primp and proper Upperclassman lit the stage next, with a heavy fan base and much anticipated performance. The rap/rock quartet showed their Sunday’s best on stage, while hyping the crowd with their tracks.
Overall the night was a huge success. Rap Rocks brought together two different genres of music into one venue and birthed a conglomerate of talented acts. A huge shout out to I Am PR Agency for producing the event; special shout out to the host Justin D and Q of Good Fella Media for rocking the mic all night.

Tonite Rap Rocks” was an uproar of rap and rock n roll fused together from some of the hottest bands and MC’s in the Tri State area. A lot of people came out to pay homage to the new faces of this hip-hop and rock movement that sparked in the 80′s and it is still going strong til this day. Crash Mansion was pretty live for a rainy Monday night, J The S seemed pretty fearless as he rocked the mic with his solo performance, then later on switching it up to a live rock n roll set. His stage presence was much appreciated. The J.U.S Evolution made a great first impression on us, raw energy all around from the lead singer all the way down to the drummer, nothing but rad vocals and hard hitting sounds. Now lets not forget the crowd favorite, David E Beats & The White House Band brought the house down with their awesome guitar set. Even with a high fever, lead singer David E Beats still gave us a great show, be sure to check their video below! A special thanks to all the attendees that night!
