    (New York, NY–June 4th, 2012)— Ja-Wan Cool releases his upbeat single “Bout To Shine” produced by Shino and engineered by Jones Shorty. This single will be on his upcoming mixtape “Persona” which will be released later this year.

    Raised in NorthEast Baltimore, he started rapping at the age of 15. He credits his musical inspiration to LL COOL J, A Tribe Called Quest, Ja Rule and local artist from the Baltimore area. Developing a passion for music in his teens he has spent countless hours in the studio perfecting his craft. He raps about his struggles, makes music people can relate to, and brings listeners into his world.
