    Nadia Kazmi will be touring Europe this Spring, in support of her latest album, Nadia Kazmi: Strange Song: The Songs of Leonard Cohen. The singer/songwriter, known for her innovative sound of dark indie rock soul, will kick off the tour on May 11th in Belgium. The last leg of the tour will be in The U.K on June 9th.

    Nadia’s first album was composed of all original songs. For her second album, Nadia decided to do a cover album of her favorite artist Leonard Cohen in a different genre: rock.

    She shared: “I wanted to take Leonard Cohen’s music and bring it to younger generations that may not be as familiar with it and also produce it in a totally new manner. My own aims as an artist in my original work is to meld serious and poetic lyrics with rock. Therefore, I thought doing the same with Cohen’s songs would be in keeping with my artistic aim. “
