David E Beats is a rapper/guitarist (hailing from D.C). He wanted to get more exposure when he moved up to New York and was seeking to publicize his music on the New York Hip Hop scene.
His music is Alternative Hip Hop, composed of bass heavy rhythms, electrifying guitar riffs, and honest; clever lyrics.

Music Connection Magazine, a monthly music trade publication featured Beats in its print March issue. Critics rated him a 7.4 out of 10 with an 8 for production & lyrics and 7 for musicianship emphasizing Beats has promising ideas.

Beats made his debut on national television in May 2010 on BET “The Deal”, becoming one of the rare unsigned artists to be featured on the show since it aired. The show covers the global movement, connecting viewers to what’s hot on the streets and in the industry.  Additionally, Jimmy Jazz, the fashion leader in urban clothing featured him in their Spring Look book Online Campaign.
